VTEX DCS is a global program that prepares recent graduates to become specialists in the Digital Commerce industry. Lasting for 18 months, the program combines a full-time employment (Working Experience) with a learning program in partnership with the EICOM Institute (Learning Experience):
To ensure that DCSers acquire the necessary knowledge to become future Commerce Specialists, the DCSers go through 3 different job rotations during the 1 year and a half of program.
In these job rotations, you will go deep into technical and business challenges and also develop your soft skills, while dealing with major clients and partners in the daily routine.
The working experience happens in parallel with the learning experience.
The learning experience is the conducted in partnership with EICOM Institute. It consists of two tracks:
Business Knowledge Track
This learning track will equip students with essential digital commerce dimensions of knowledge: Sales & Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations and Finance.
Technical Knowledge Track
During this journey, students will learn technical knowledge and practices of solution architectures, and and work on projects where they can implement solutions for real VTEX clients.

These professionals are be able to talk business with authority and technical expertise.
By becoming a Commerce Specialist, you will have what it takes to ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions for clients, guide them towards the best strategic path for business architecture, identify new opportunities, and solve complex problems, in many different roles.
There prerequisites are:
University degree or Diploma from an Advanced Technical Institute that is recognized by the Ministry of Education, in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
For this edition, your graduation date must be between January 2021 and December 2024.
Proficiency in written and oral English is a must; additional languages such Portuguese are a plus.
You must reside or have availability to work in the country you apply for. Please note: VTEX is not responsible for relocation costs.
Previous experience in ecommerce and B2B companies is preferable.
Programming skills can be an advantage but are not a requirement.
Lasting for 18 months, the program combines a full-time employment opportunity with a learning program that offers an innovative and unique approach provided by the EICOM Institute.

2. Online Tests: The hiring process begins now. In this phase, you will be required to take an ecommerce test (CMX Level 1: Commerce Management Certification) and submit a video presentation.
3. Technical Interview: This is a technical interview where you'll need to demonstrate a VTEX product. Prior to that, you'll have materials to learn about our platform.
4. Final Interview: It's a bar raiser interview. This is the final stage of the hiring process. We want to know the future you want to build for yourself.
5. Final Result: Final phase result and all important information for the start.6. Beginning Date: The first day!

Yes. During the hiring process, an English test will measure your fluency level, and classes will be taught in English during the program.

No. The program includes educational tutorials that will ensure you have all the information you need to become a certified solution architect by the end. However, having coding experience – even at a basic level – is a plus in the hiring process.

The workload is equivalent to a full-time job, approximately 8 hours a day – learning experience (around 10 hours per week) included.
VTEX operates on a hybrid work model. Therefore, you must reside or have availability to work in the chosen country. If you do not reside in any of these regions and wish to relocate, VTEX is not responsible for relocation costs.

No, you can only apply to your own country or countries where you already have a work visa. You will also need to move to that country (VTEX does not cover relocation costs).
